ノートパソコン向けの新製品情報です(‘-‘*)
重ね重ねすみません。夏風邪をこじらせてダウンしていました(@_@) 今はある程度落ち着きましたけど・・・迷惑メールが山のように入っているので、選別が大変です。
とはいえ私にとっては新しいシステムとなるWordPress、使えば使うほどによくできたプラットフォームと感じていて、プラグインや本体の更新もほぼ半自動ででき、スパム検出機構も強力で。余計な手間がかかりません。
迷惑メールはあくまでも前のシステムで・・・、というよりも、ハッキリ言ってしまってすみませんが、きっと私のメールを受け取った人で対策ができていない人から漏れ出したものだと思うのですよね。これがメールの難点だと思っています。
後は・・・本当はかけたくありませんでしたけど、メールアドレスの認証を前提にしたことにより、載せられないようなコメントは激減していますしね。基本全て載せてはいますが、前置きをしておくことも大切ですね、と感じるところです。
このあたりは近日再度整理しますので、しばしお待ちください。
さて、検索が多くなる「ノートパソコン」の検討ですけど・・・。前から申し上げているとおり、「ノートパソコンでなければならない理由」がハッキリとしていない限りは、「省スペース型のデスクトップにするだけでも『ゲーム体験は明らかにそちらが上ですよ』」としておきます。
それでいて価格も安めですからね。ノートは価格、耐久性、性能etcetc…あらゆる面で不利なのです。なぜならあれだけコンパクトな筐体に、あれやこれやとたくさん詰め込んでいますからね。故障したときの対応なども大変なものです。
メリットは言うまでもなく省スペース＝可搬性（持ち運びの容易さ）や省電力性につきると思います。が、言い換えればその2点を何とかできるのであれば、私としてはデスクトップパソコンを強くおすすめしておきますね。
ことあるごとにいうのですが、「ゲーム体験」って本当にバカにならないものなのですよね。今一度取り上げますけど、こんなムービーをご覧になれば「どちらで遊んでみたいですか？」と問われたとき、クライアント標準状態でいいという人はあまりいらっしゃらないことでしょうから。
この2つのムービーはそれを追体験するものですが、可能であれば「1080 60pHD」または「720 60pHD」に設定し、「フルスクリーン」にて視聴することでわかりやすくなると思います。歯車のアイコンから選択可能です。
ちょうど本日、YouTubeのiOS/Android向けアプリが、1080/60pや720/60p再生に対応したそうなのでぜひ試してみてください。携帯端末固有の精細なディスプレイによって、素晴らしい映像を映し出してくれることでしょう。

Vitaの方は再生直後、いったん×ボタンで戻り、ページが現れましたら歯車アイコンにて「自動（360p）を720pHD」に切り換えて、再度再生してみるといいでしょう。Vitaの中で再生されうる品質としては、間違いなく綺麗なものだと感じます。
「PCで遊ぶとこんな画面なんだ・・・」ということを、すぐに把握していただけることでしょう。
ちなみに、Youtubeの映像はこれでも「再圧縮された、汚い状態」のものです。
「ほぼ実機に近い、劣化が極めて少ない原本」をご覧になりたい場合は、私のOneDriveからダウンロードしてみるといいでしょう。約1.8GB近くありますが、別次元の品質だと思いますよ。
それでいて使用しているプロファイル（当サイトで公開しているものですね）は「中程度の品質」のもの。このフログ・ラッピーさんのですね。最上位は筆舌に尽くしがたいものなのです。
画質が全てでないことはもちろんなのですが、PSO2においては「画質が『キャラクター＝アバター周りを楽しむために、大きく引き立ててくれる要素』」となるため、看過できないものです。
言ってしまえば「画面が汚いと『ああ、こんなものか』」で、「キャラクターに愛着が湧く前に、『印象に残らない』」まま「ゲーム内容のお粗末さ」と相まって、「そこらの基本無料タイトルとそう違いを感じること」もなく、辞められるのです。
きっと、一度でも上記のような綺麗な画面を知った人なら「これは違う」とすぐに悟るものだと、私は考えてはいるのですけどね。
（さらに言い換えるのなら、定着しない最大の理由ってゲーム内容であるのはいうまでもなく、次点で「キャラクターをウリにしている割には見合わない画面の品質」にあると、思っています）
あまり画質画質品質品質と口うるさくはなりたくないですけど、PSO2は本当に「これが何とかなれば、他社が簡単には追いつけないレベルの品質」にもまとまるところにはあるのですよね。それさえ何とかなれば、後の遊びの面は「遊び手たちで考えていけばいい」、と感じますので。
ゆえ、ノートパソコンにしても「映像品質、表現力」はぬかりなく、考え抜いてほしいところです。一度でもその綺麗な画面を味わえば、私のいわんとしていることは「きっと伝わるはず」ですので。
言葉があれなのですが、「だまされたと思って、やってみて」とさえ、言い切ってしまいます。それくらいに「体験」というものは、言葉には代えられない説得力を有しているものなのです。
ですので、上記の動画だけでは完全には伝えられていません。画面品質という点では十分伝わるとは思いますが、一番大切なのは「ご自身で、それを動かしたときに『わあ・・・』」と驚かれることに他ならないのですから。
このような綺麗な映像を生み出すために必要なものは・・・ノートパソコンの場合、内蔵している「グラフィックスチップ」と呼ばれる品になりますので覚えておいてくださいね。このチップが高性能であるほど、得られる感動体験もより深いものとなりますので。
グラフィックスチップには大きく分けて2つのメーカー・・・種類があり、「NVIDIA社のGeForce」「AMD社のRadeon」が存在します。読みはそれぞれ「えぬびでぃあ・じーふぉーす」「えーえむでぃー・れでぃおん（らでおん）」となります。
本サイトで扱っているPSO2や、ちょうどリリースとなる対抗馬のFF14 蒼天のイシュガルドなど、大半のゲームはNVIDIA GeForce向けに最適化されていることもあり、すみませんがこちらでの紹介はGeForceのみとさせていただきますね。
Radeonを選ぶ方は・・・いわば「分かっていらっしゃる方」だと思いますので、がんばって！ とだけ(@_@) ・・・すみませんなのです。
PSO2においては残念ながら？Radeonでは最高品質時（特に影品質を4/5にした場合）、パフォーマンスがGeForceより上がらない現実があります。このあたりについては後日改めて記載しておこうと思います。

名前でいうと「GeForce GTX 980M/970M/965M/960M/950M」といったチップ群になるのですが、こちらもデスクトップと同じように「数字が大きいほど高性能である」、と考えていただければ。
ノートパソコンではさすがに4Kグラフィックスといったような「超高精細な映像」を作り出すことは難しいですけど、元々ノートパソコンの画面自体が緻密であるため、そのパネルいっぱいに十分な品質の映像を出力できるだけの性能は、有しつつある状況です。
もちろんクライアント標準状態ではそこまで綺麗にはなりませんけど、後日取り上げる「カスタムアンチエイリアシング」なるテクニックを使えば、ノートパソコンでも十分綺麗にすることは可能です。が、デスクトップパソコンと比べていろいろと考えなくてはならない部分がありますので、そちらだけ気をつけていただけたらなと思います。
では、いくつかの商品を取り上げますね。他社さまの商品を検討する際でも、このキーワードさえ覚えておけば問題ありません。

デスクトップと似たような印象だと思います。ノートパソコンの場合は末尾にMの型番が与えられており、後は数字が大きいほど高性能という点も全く同じ。
ただし、デスクトップ向けのそれと比べて「最大で半分未満まで、性能が落ち込んでしまう」点を押さえておかないとなりません。なぜかといえばもちろん、「そんなに小さな筐体に、高性能なものを詰め込むこと自体に無理があるから」、です。
それらを踏まえ、デスクトップと同じように考えるとこんな感じでしょうか。

お読みになれば「GTX 980M/970M以外は、前機種・800M番台のリネーム（名前を変えただけの）品である」ことが把握できるはず。つまり昨年のチップと何も変わらないのです。う～ん・・・。
このような点からも、私としては「上位となる980M/970Mが候補に入らないようであれば、デスクトップのGTX 960搭載パソコンをおすすめ」します。明らかに「体験が異なります」ので。それほどまでに900番台・Maxwell 2.0アーキテクチャのすごさは推して知るべしなのです。
各社様々なモデルを出されていますが、今回も「PSO2推奨パソコン」を軸に、まとめていきます。提携している4社さまを紹介しますね。
マウスコンピューターさん：価格対性能比に優れ、サポート体制も充実。最近は購入者特典となるオリジナルアイテムも発表されました

他にもいくつかメーカーさんはありますけど、とりあえず今回はこの4社さまということで。
基準は誰もが気になる「価格」。そちらに応じたグラフィックスチップが価格帯別にきれいに分かれていますので、紹介しますね。
ただ、最近はお察しの通りで円安傾向ということもあり、価格は上昇の一途をたどっています。待っていれば一律安くなる、というわけではありませんので悩ましいところです。その点は押さえておきましょう。
ノートパソコンの場合、基本的に「デスクトップパソコンのような『グラフィックスカードの交換』は不可能」となりますので、長く使うことが前提になるでしょう。
しかし小さな本体にたくさんの部品が詰め込まれていますので、使用環境によっては寿命が著しく短くなる恐れもあります。ぱそ子さんは高温多湿に弱いですので、これからの夏場を迎えるに当たり、デスクトップパソコン以上に「室温に特に気を配ってください」。
30度以上は間違いなく寿命を縮めますし、お布団やカーペットの上などで遊ぶのも厳禁。通気口をふさぐような、密着しそうな場所で遊ぶのはNGなのです。そう考えると、あまり自由なスタイルで遊べる・・・というわけでもないのです。
その点だけ、くれぐれもお気をつけくださいね。

昨年冬にGTX 980M/970Mチップは登場しているため、半年経った今・・・変わったのはそれ以下の960Mチップなりの存在、ということになるのでしょう。しかしチップの実態はその前の860Mなりの「名前の付け替え品」なだけであり、機能・性能がアップしたわけではないのです。
それでいて昨年末の価格と比べると・・・むしろ高くなってしまったものまであり。なので、ぱそ子さんは特になのですが「ほしいと思ったときこそ、買い時ですよ」と、いわせてもらうのでした。
後は・・・そうですね。購入の際には「SSD」なる部品にも注目できるといいでしょう。これはデータを保存する場所として従来は「HDD」（ハードディスクドライブ）を使用してきたわけですが、スピードをより高速にしたものと思っていただければ。
難点は容量が少ないですので、「高速に読み書きするものはSSDに」「データ保存はHDDに」といった使い分けをすることになります。ゆえ、上記の基本モデルに「追加」して使うものとなりますので注意しましょう。
価格的には1万円くらいプラスになってしまいますが、このような動画をご覧になれば・・・いわんとしていることも伝わるのでは。SSDを一度でも使えば、もはや戻れないくらいの魅力があるのでした。一昔前は10万円近くもしていましたから、だいぶ手頃になったものなのです。
ちなみに、上のムービーはもちろんSSDでローディングさせています。なかなか速いでしょう。
SSDとHDDはどう違うの？ – バッファローさん
以上、ノートぱそ子さんについてのざっくばらんな話題になりますが、デスクトップと異なる点は「モデルナンバーの末尾にMがついた」ことと、「性能的には最悪のケースだとデスクトップの半減近くに達する」部分くらい。
それさえ飲めるのであれば、いろんな場所で遊べる利点は何物にも代えがたいと思いますので・・・。後は予算の折り合いがつけられるといいですね。
E3で気になったもう一つのタイトルは、う～ん・・・。人喰いの大鷲トリコでしょうか。このインタラクティブムービーも度肝を抜かれましたのです。実機映像なのですから、これ。どんな作品に仕上がるのか、期待したいものです。
ノートパソコンではどうしても、画質なりを引き上げると発熱量の増加、それに伴うファンの騒音の発生、使用環境によるホコリの流入etcetc…。見逃すことのできない問題が出てきてしまいますので、「自己管理をきちんとできる人」が望ましいのかなと感じます。あるいは「消耗品」として、寿命が短くなってもいいと割り切るか。
最近はノートパソコン向けの「グラフィックスカード拡張BOX」みたいなものも出てきてはいるのですが、そこまでやってしまうと「ノートパソコンの意味とは？」と、存在理由を問いただされることになりますので・・・あえて紹介はしていません。
興味がある人は検索してみるといいでしょうけど、そこまでするくらいならデスクトップパソコンを最初から検討されることをおすすめしますね。
拡張性＝将来につながることは大切ではあるのですが、同時に「最初から拡張性に困らない機種を選んでおくのが賢明」であるとも、いえるのではないでしょうか。
ノートパソコンで価格を気にするのは「作業向けパソコン」だと思われ、ゲーム向けは「予算を惜しまず、つぎ込める人」が狙うべき領域だと、私は思っています。
ノートが悪いのではなく、ノートを狙う人ほどなぜか「価格を気にされる」方が多いからです。むしろ逆ですので。
「ゲーム用のノートパソコンは、高性能を実現するために価格も高めですよ」、と。
それならデスクトップパソコンも検討されてみては・・・と思うのでした＿〆(. .*

お気遣いありがとうございます。早くよくなりたいところです。にはは。
PC WatchさんはWeb版、創刊当時から読んでいますが、雑誌がメインでしたね。当時高校生あたりだったのですけど、何とか食らいついていきましたっけ。あの頃はまだダイヤルアップ接続なり普通に残っていましたので、読むのはなかなか大変でしたけど・・・。
いえいえゞ(￣∇￣;) たとえなんて、初心者もなにもないと思われまして。国語力、語学力、センスある人が上手と考えられます。
ただ、そう、おっしゃるように、どうしても技術者さんたちの陥りやすい点として、技術者さんたちのレベルで話し合うことに終始しては本末転倒ですから。自分たちでは伝わっても一般の人達に伝わらなければ、意味がないですからね。
上記のようにまとめたのも、そうなのです。TDPなり消費電力なり、パソコンの授業のところで軽くは触れましたけど、重く扱わないのもそれが理由です。専門用語が出れば出るほど、理解が遠のきますから。なので、私としては「数字が多いほど高性能」「のーぱそは小型なので、性能をデスクトップほどは出せない」としているわけです。
そこで「なぜ？」となった人が、自らいろいろ調べて、学んでいけたらいいのかなと考えています。その部分をフォローしたのがあの記事なわけですけど・・・。今はもう、気にするくらいなら、早くそのぱそ子さんをゲットして、たくさん遊ぶ方が幸せになれるのでは、と＾＾；
そうですね、拡張ボックスは悪いとはいいませんけど、やってしまうと最大の持ち運びできる魅力をそぎ落としかねませんから、あれば便利、でもなくてもいい、くらいのたたずまいでいいのかなと。でも装着する＝どっしり構えることにほかなりませんから、でしたらデスクトップが安くていいのでは、となるわけですね。後は汎用性があるわけではないですから、いつ使えなくなるかにおびえなくてはなりませんし。一筋縄ではいかなさそうです。
お掃除は大切ですね。私はぎゃくに密閉型・・・いわゆる窒息タイプと呼ばれるものですけど、AntecさんのSOLO IIなるものを前まで使っていました。今は同じくCorsairさんの330Rなるものですが、可能な限り通気口は塞いで、リアファンヘ熱を移送できるようにしてはいますね。
私はそのあたり、ぱそ子さんに触れ始めた最初からずっと追い求めてきてはいますので（ファンはおそらく100個近く試してきているかも）・・・。「ホコリを吸い込ませない＝ファンを回させない」方向から考えていますので、5960Xではありますけど、BIOSの設定なりをいろいろ工夫して、ファン回転数はほとんど2～300rpmあたりです（エンコード時で900程度）。ゆえ、ホコリを巻き込むこともほとんどありません。年に1回、軽く拭き取って上げるだけで間に合うのでした(‘-‘*)

3Dゲームの画質向上について調べていると、こちらのサイトにたどり着きました。
どこにコメントをお送りしたら良いか分からなかったので、最新記事に投稿いたしました。
七つの海さんの旧サイトを大まかに読み、Nvidia Inspectorの役割と使い方が何となく理解できました。
その上で、プレイしているゲームの画質向上をアンチエリアスにて挑んだのですが変化が見られませんでした。
lavendyさんが仰っていたAntialiasing compatibilityの数値が見当違いの値になっている事が原因だと思います。
プレイしているゲームがDirectX10以降を使用しているようなので、用意されているプリセットが殆ど無く、自分で見つけ出すしか無いようです。
見つけ出すための手がかりを掴みたく、質問がいくつかあります。
一つ目は、Antialiasing compatibilityの値はどのような値なのでしょうか。
ある、ひとつのフィルターの強弱を決めるための、レベルのような数値なのでしょうか。
それとも32個あるフィルターのオンオフを決めるスイッチのような物なのでしょうか。
効果が見られる値はひとつしかないのでしょうか。
二つ目は、どんなゲームでも3D系(MMDのような物も)であればinspectorでの画質向上は可能なのでしょうか。
三つ目は、アンチエリアスはゲームウィンドウがフルスクリーン、仮想フルスクリーン、ウィンドウなど、どんな状態でも適用されるのでしょうか。
知識があまり無いため、素人質問になってしまいますが、よろしくお願いします。

はじめまして。おはようございます。ご高覧いただき恐縮です。
あはは・・・(@_@) こちらのページではまだそのあたりをまとめられておらず、申し訳ございません。ただ、NVIDIA Inspectorの詳細については前のページ通り、特にコメントを受け付ける予定はないのです。なぜなら、そう。私も詳しいわけではありませんので(汗笑)。
ただ、あのようなまとめを書かせていただいてもいますので、ちゃんとしておきたいなと考えてはいます。
なるほどなのです。タイトル名が不明なのはさておき、おっしゃるとおりでDirectX 10以降のタイトルはほとんどカスタムビットが効かないものになります。これは海外フォーラムでも多々指摘されているところとなるようですね。
とりあえず、ご質問の3つにお答えします。
1:Antialiasing compatibilityというのはつまるところ、「そのアプリケーション（該当ゲーム）にアンチエイリアスを正しく適用させるための、仲介役となるビット」と私は捉えています。
「解は基本的に一つ」には収束されるものの、「厳密にあてられないといけない」ものでもないようには感じます。
多少なり、「かすめる（正解の値に近いビット）」ような立て方であっても、ソフトによっては何かしらの変化をもたらすものが多いようです。ただ、私はまだDirectX 10以降のタイトルに触れた試しがありませんので、そのあたりの詳細まではわかりかねます。すみません。
そのように見立てれば、レベルのような数値、という見立て方が適しているのかな、と私は感じますが・・・。ただ、あくまでタイトルを限定してしか調べていませんから、いろいろなソフトに触れてみないことには、何ともいえない部分があります。
こちらのページで取り扱っているPSO2なるタイトルはDirectX 9対応ソフトなのでビットパターンが豊富にありますし、必ずしも私の指定している値でなくとも、近いようなビットが立っていれば効果は現れています。
ですので、推測にはなりますが「基本的に『正解のビットに近ければ、効果は現れるものと考えられる』」のですが、DirectX 10以降についてはほぼお手上げの状態のため、見つけ出すことは困難・・・否、「解は存在しない」のかもしれません。
海外の方でさえ、DirectX 10よりも9で綺麗にAAをかける方が見栄えがいい、といわれているほどですからね。
あくまでもこのビットは「ドライバーデフォルトの状態でセッティングしても、反映されないときに立てるもの」であり、普通は「_GLOBAL_DRIVER_PROFILE (Base Profile)」（最初のプロファイル）の値を変えるだけで動くのが基本動作となります。
ゆえ、このあたりの仕様詳細については・・・「制作元にご確認・ご相談ください」、としか回答できないのです。それがかなわないからこそ、みんながんばって探そうとするのですよね・・・。
もっとも、制作側としては「勝手に根掘り葉掘り調べないでくれ～！」と思われていることでしょうし・・・難しいところですね(汗笑)。PSO2ではこれが災いし、いろいろなバグを炙り出す事態となっていますので・・・（’’
2:はい。正しくビットが通ってアプリケーションに反映されるのであれば、アンチエイリアシングがかかって綺麗に表示されるようにはなるはずです。MMDとて例外ではないでしょう。
プロファイルセッティングのページをご覧いただければ把握されると思いますが、何もゲームだけではありません。PhotoshopやInternet Explorerといった汎用ソフトまでプロファイルは用意されていますからね。
とはいえ、全てが全て、アンチエイリアシングをサポートするわけではありませんので。あくまで「そのソフトで、隠し技的にサポートされているもの」であれば、それを導き出して適用できる・・・といった代物なのです。
なので、このツール自体が「裏技的なもの」であることを、まずは押さえておかないとなりません。何でもできる万能のソフト・・・というわけでは決してありませんので。
過信は禁物ですよ、なのです。
3:はい。原則どのような画面状態であっても適用されるのが普通です。「きちんとDirectXの仕様に則ったアプリケーション開発をされていれば」、の話ですが。
こちらも、PSO2においてはイレギュラーが発生してしまっていて・・・。フルスクリーンモードは本来の動作をするようですが、ウィンドウ・仮想フルスクリーンの場合はいろいろと制約がつくようです（Vsyncが有効にならない、SSAA系のアンチエイリアシングが不可など）。
しかし、PSO2の前作となるPSUなるタイトルでは、ウィンドウモードであろうとVsync/SSAAもしっかりかかっていました。ゆえ、アプリケーションがきちんとできあがっていれば、普通にできるものだと私は考えています。
ですので、ソフトにもよりますが、まず動作検証をされる際は理由がなければ「フルスクリーンモードから試してみましょう」と、私は提案しておきます。昔から、この状態が動作の礎として規定されてきていますしね。
ウィンドウモードはあくまで、最近の潮流で生まれ出た産物だと思っています。もちろん昔からあるにはありましたけど、今はほぼすべてがDirect 3Dを中心に描画していますから。
その制御の難しさは最近のドライバー完成度の未熟さに、ひしひしと現れていることと存じます（350世代のドライバーなどですね）。ましてや今は4Kという超高解像度も現れるようになっておきており、昔とは考え方を変えなくてはならない部分もあるでしょうから。
（4Kはご存じの通り、DVI端子では出力不可能になってしまい＜Dual-Link DVIを2本使って接続可能ではありますが、イレギュラーということで＞、いろいろとその足かせ、制約がつきまとっていますしね。推奨されるDisplay Port1.2でも問題多発の状態ですし・・・）
・・・といった感じで、書いているとエンドレスエイトとなってしまいますので(@_@) このあたりにつきましては、可能であれば来週中に、ある程度線引きできるお題は記そうと考えています。
ただ、私も万能ではありませんので、そのあたりはあしからずご了承くださいね。

なるほど、やはりDirectX10以降はまだまだ未開拓なのですね・・・。
こうなると本当に虱潰しに探すしかないようですね。ビットの桁を徐々に下げて行きながら検証して行こうと思います（泣
DirectX10の前例がほとんど無いと言うのは本当にお手上げですね。
ちなみにタイトルは、カスタムメイド3DIIと言うまぁそっち系のゲームです笑
体験版の物なので、そもそも適用されないアプリケーションだったらどうしようとビクビクしています。
アンチエイリアシングがフォトショップなどにも適用されるとは驚きです。
グラフィックボードに処理をさせているアプリケーションであれば、大半は効果が出ると事なんでしょうね。

はい。未開拓・・・というよりも、どうにもDirectX 10以降で有効になるビットそのものがほとんどないようなのですよね。
その見極めがBit Value Editorとなるわけですが・・・半分以上のビットが未使用となっているのですよね。DX9のEditorはかなりびっしりと文字が埋まっているのですが。
ですので、未開拓・・・以前に「ビットそのものを立てられない」ような状況なのかなと感じてしまいます。一応私も、スクエニさんのタイトルでガンスリンガーストラトスなるものをテストで遊んだことがありますけど、あちらもDX11対応で、ビットが思うように立てられませんでした。いろいろ試しましたが、無変化なのでした。ジャギーはひどかったですね。
なるほどなのです。いろいろなタイトルにおいて本サイトを検索されているようで恐縮しきりですが、似たようなタイトルのもの、いくつかあるようですね。あげていただいたタイトルも初耳ではあるのですが、DX10以降のソフトはこのあたりが難儀するようです。
一応取り寄せて簡単にみてみましたけど、コンフィグ内にいろいろあるようですが・・・これではダメなのでしょうか？～？ アンチエイリアスもx8までかけられるみたいですし、影やテクスチャフィルタもHighにすれば、十分な品質を持っているようには感じますけど・・・。撮影オプションまでx4対応など、至れり尽くせりのような気がします(@_@)
画面解像度は1920*1080(16:9)止まりのようですが、問題ないような気はします。PSO2はこの体験版（というよりもエディットツールなのでしょうか）でいう、すべてNoneが推奨設定に近い状態ですからね(汗)。
ウィンドウモードは・・・どうやら完全なフルスクリーンではなく、仮想での実装ですね。ただ、垂直同期などはきちんと働いているようで、PSO2も見習ってほしいところ。ゆえSLIには対応していないようですけど、クライアントにこれだけあれば必要十分なのですよね、本当に。
ですので、もしもジャギーを低減したい・・・となれば、FXAAをOnにして見栄えが変わるか否か・・・くらいだと思います。あとはテクスチャフィルタリングあたりで。ただ、FXAAはスクリーンショットに反映されないのが痛いところですね。体験版ソフトを入れてもプロファイルは追加されないようですから、そうなると自分で新規に作成し、定義づけをしないとなりませんね。
あ、いえ。あくまでこのプロファイル、がいろんなアプリケーション向けに用意されている、ということですね。Adobe Acrobat Reader DCなり。Profilesの部分をいろいろみていれば、見つかるはずです。AAは基本的に3D対応のタイトルのみでしょうね。
重ねてになりますが、来週中にはこのあたりを一とおり、案内できるようなものを紹介できればいいなと考えていますので。気になる際はそちらも参考にしていただけると幸いです。

すいません、前回のコメントで終わるつもりだったのですが、別なゲームにて画質向上に挑戦したところ、新たに疑問が出てきてしまいました。
今度はDirectX9を使用しているアプリケーションです。
Antialiasing compatibilityをデフォルトのままアンチエリアシングの設定を変更したところ、ゲーム側で変化が見られinspectorのアンチエリアシングを適用する事に成功しました。
その後、Antialiasing compatibilityの値を色々試していると極端に処理が重くなる数値を見つけました。
60fpsで動いていた物が、20fpsまで落ち込むほどの変化です。
これは何かしらの新たな処理が入り、画質を向上しようとしていると言う事になるのでしょうか。
二つ目に、inspectorのアンチエリアシングを適応させる為の前提として、ゲーム側のアンチエリアシングを無効にすると言う事でしたが、このアプリケーションでは、ゲーム側をどのレベルでも良いので有効にしなければ、inspector側のアンチエリアシングが適応されませんでした。
ゲーム側を有効にしてinspectorの設定を色々試した場合は、画質に変化がある上に処理が重くなり、ゲーム側を無効にしてinspectorの設定を色々試した場合は、画質に変化が無い上に処理は軽いままでした。
一概に無効にしなければならないという事ではないのでしょうか。
何度も何度も大変申し訳ありませんが、お答えいただければ幸いです。
わざわざ私が試しているソフトを実験していただきありがとうございます。
こんなソフトなのでなんだか恥ずかしいです（汗
正直に良いますと、ソフトに設けられているアンチエリアシングで十分ですね。
ただ、inspectorというソフトがある事を知っていたので、もし更に画質向上が出来るならその画質を見てみたい、と言う探究心から実験を始めたのです。
私の自分勝手な考えに付き合わせてしまい本当に申し訳ありませんでした・・・・。

お世話になります。お返事が遅くなり、申し訳ございませんでした。
わあ、そうでしたか。ドライバーデフォルトの部分を差し替えるだけで、動いたのですね。それが本当は理想の姿であり、いいことだと思います。そのまま、常用していただければ。
ええ、まさしくそのとおりです。ただ、あくまでも「適切なビットか否か」はご自身で見極めるしかなく、たとえば「20fpsまで落ち込んだ・・・けど、見栄えがさっぱり変わっていない」ようでは、単に重たいだけのビットですよね(汗笑)。意味がないのです。
逆に120fpsあたりまで跳ね上がったとしても、目に見えて汚くなった・・・ようでは、これもまた適切なビットであるとはいえないのかなと。そのあたりを見極めるのが難しいのですよね。熟練を要する部分となることでしょう。また、その特性上、「大型モニタでないと発見することは困難なのかも」しれません。
私は液晶テレビ・東芝レグザ 58Z9Xなる、普通のパソコンゲーマーさんとは全く異なる、大型テレビで遊んでいるのですが。これだけ大きいからこそ、ジャギーなどもわかりやすく、とらえることができるのですよね。ですので、こちらで紹介しているPSO2のビットについては、誰よりも探求しているという自負は一応ありますよ（累計で500時間くらいはやっています）。小型モニターでは探すのに限界があるということです。
えと、ゲーム側のアンチエイリアシングを無効にする、というのもケースバイケース・・・個々の場合に応じて、ですよ。あくまでPSO2の場合は「ゲーム内のAAを有効にすると、画面をぼかすだけでテクスチャのディティールまでつぶしてしまう」から最悪だと揶揄しているだけであり(汗笑)、他のゲームも必ずそうしましょう、といっているわけではありません。
また、AAにもFXAAのようなポストエフェクト系（厳密にジャギー処理をするのではなく、レンダリング後の映像全体にフィルター処理をかけるような手法）のものがありますから（PSO2はそれですね）、On/Offによって見栄えが大幅に異なる場合もあることでしょう。
ですので、3号さんがそのような適用条件をご自身で発見できたわけですから、その場合は「ゲーム内AAは有効にしたまま、グローバルプロファイル＝ドライバーデフォルトのAAを任意のものに切り換える」、で正解となることでしょう。・・・本来は、これが理想的な外部AAのかけ方だと、私は思っていますけどね(@_@)

あはは・・・。クライアントであれだけ、必要最小限でありながら十分効果のあるオプションを用意されていれば、納得できると思います。大半の人は。PSO2はAAを入れても入れなくても、ほとんど変わらないあたりで嘆いているわけなのですよね。だからこそ、上のような比較ムービーができるわけなのですが。
あくまでも、Inspectorをいじるのは「クライアント標準状態で満足できない方」くらいであり、ほとんどの人は無縁のツールでいいと思っています。このソフトを使うことは、すなわち「メーカーさんの動作保証外の行為を行っている」に等しいわけですから。なので結果が出ようが出まいが、文句はいえないのです。
PSO2プレイヤーさんはそれを意識していないのがまずいかなあと感じるところでありまして・・・。そのあたりも操作解説のムービー内で、注意喚起をできたらいいなと考えています。

おそらくLavendyさんは初心者さんに分かりやすいように、難しい言葉を出来るだけ使わないように文章を考えておられるのだと思いますが…
私のような「初心者に毛が生えた」程度の人間が口をはさむことではないのかもしれませんが、例えば「枕元にある目覚まし時計と小さな腕時計、どちらのほうが製造過程で技術的なコストがかかり、なおかついろいろな制約を受けますか？（文字盤はアナログ時計と仮定します）」といえばイメージの湧く方もいるかもしれません（私だけですかね。汗）。
デスクトップPCとノートPCの決定的な差は内部空間の差であって、そこで電力供給と発熱の排熱に限界が生じる…、と書くと、うん、ちょっと堅苦しい（汗笑）。
私はPCウォッチさんのところを毎日チェックするのが日課（楽しみ？）なので「グラボ拡張BOX」なるものも画像で見ましたが、…なるほど、しばしいろいろと考えて以下略（決して悪く言うつもりはありません）。
デスクトップPCもノートPCも、定期的な掃除、は大切ですよね（ノートPCはそもそもケースを開けれないものもあるのですが）。
私はデスクトップでCorsair450Dというケースを使っているのですが、ゲーミングケースなのでファンが大きい＝ホコリを吸い込みやすい、ので、毎月一回の掃除（エアダスターで吹いて掃除機で吸うだけですが）がお約束になってます（笑）。
